Ballast Film

Rafinol Ballast Film, developed as a result of research at the Rafinol R & D Laboratory, is a complex liquid product designed to effectively control the corrosion of metal surfaces. It is especially designed to protect the ballast tanks of ships against rust and corrosion caused by salt and moisture. For ballast tanks, with Rafinol Ballast Film production was realized for the first time in our country.

Usage

Since Rafinol Ballast Film is a superior performance product designed to prevent rusting of metal surfaces and can be used in all areas required corrosion protection.

In Marine
Balancing is carried out with ballast tanks in marine vehicles such as ship and boat. When water is taken into the ballast tanks built in engineering-appropriate parts of ships, ensures that the ship reaches a certain weight, keeping it within a certain balance on the sea surface. In case of load bearing, the water is drained to maintain balance. A similar application exists in submarines, too. Ballast tanks are filled with water to submerge submarines. If submarines are demanded to remain on the surface, water is discharged. Protection of ballast tanks against rust and corrosion is important. At protection of ballast tanks, the liquid ballast film is coated on the metal surface by spraying or brushing. Thanks to its special complex liquid structure, it reaches to the deepest areas on the metal surface and provides long term protection against rusting by placing between the environment causing rust formation and the metal surface.

To ensure optimum performance, 0.5 kg Rafinol Ballast Film is recommended for 1m² area (With 300-400 microns thickness daubing / brushing method).

In Automotive Industry
It is used for corrosion protection of all mechanical components that require protection against corrosion such as brake pedals, handbrake and speedometer cable, mechanism of hood & baggage, door hinges & locks, window handle and its mechanism, seat rails, hand tools, protection of the interior of the door and battery terminals.

In Industrial Application

Used in hand tools, protection of spare parts, treated surfaces, conveyor bearing and bearing sleeve, hinge and rails of door & window, valves, open weldings, pipelines, pulleys, exposed gears, steel ropes and coaxial parts floating over each other.

In Construction Sector

It is used in mobile and tower cranes, ropes, exposed gears steel bodies, control mechanisms, rollers and hand measurement tools.

In Agricultural Tools

It prevents corrosion when this product is used in agricultural fertilizers such as liquid manure tanks, large storage tanks, funnels, collecting tanks, conveyors, loaders, sorting machines and agricultural irrigation pumps. It prevents the corrosion coming from the fertilizer in the liquid fertilizer tanks and provides lubrication of the moving parts and protects against the effects of moisture. Lubrication of small tanks is carried out by taking back the increasing part after making sure that approximately 1 L / m² Rafinol Ballast Film is put into the tank and circulated on the surfaces. In some cases the same process may need to be repeated two or three times.
