SHIP LAUNCHING SLIP COAT

Ship Launching Slip Coat which has the slider property is applied on Ship Launching Base Coat that is the first layer material applied on the cradles by melting. It is a superior feature material which has protective and slider feature on the cradles formes the second layer when the ships launching.

Usage

It is applied onto the Ship Launching Base Coat at the cradles where the ships are launched in the shipyards.

Properties

  • High Slider Feature: It allows Ship Launching Base Coat which make the protective function on cradles to perform its function without breaking and to enhance its greasiness.
  • High Resistance Feature to Rust, Oxidation and Seawater: It resists to rust, oxidation and seawater.

Considerations in Ship Cradle Oils

Care must be taken when pouring so that the Ship Launching Base Coat does not crack.

Cradle should be well cleaned It should not be to much boiled and should be poured by melting at 70 °C.

Should not be applied in windy conditions.

Should not be applied on wet and moist ground.
